EFFICIENT INK SYSTEMS
Printers utilising Canon’s Single Ink tank system optimise printing
efficiency. To minimise wastage, each ink colour has its own individually replaceable tank. An LED light integrated into the tank flashes when a colour is running low. Alternatively, printers utilising Canon’s FINE Cartridge system such as the Canon MP 970 combine inks and print head in one, easily replaceable unit to optimise convenience and simplicity.

AUTO IMAGE FIX
Not every dark or fuzzy image is the same. PIXMA technology
knows that you don’t treat a portrait the same as a landscape or a night scene – and it has the intelligence to know the difference.

Auto Image Fix starts by analysing and categorising your photo. Once it has determined what it is looking at, it applies the optimum set of corrections for thatimage type. For example, if a face is detected, PIXMA corrects skin tone and
brightness. For scenery, it works on color fogging, contrast and saturation. It even applies different corrections to different parts of the image. So you get the best results with every print.
